We'll be closing the studio early today and tomorrow to accommodate for the carnival and fireworks.

Today only -> Hot yoga at 1.

Tomorrow -> Sunday Flow at 11 w/ "patriotic" hits (I'm outsourcing this to Sam. He just doesn't know it yet.)

Oh, and a friendly reminder to not keep your neighbor's up with fireworks all weekend. Some us do not deal well with loud noises have to work on Monday.

As the days get warmer, just a friendly reminder that before you purchase an above ground pool please do consult the HOA manual. Almost every year someone gets something that's outside of the bounds and I would hate for you to be this year's unlucky resident in that regard.

Briefly, anything higher than a foot must be the same color as your home, or enclosed with a stucco wall that is the same color as your home. Anything that you wish to keep up permanently falls into this category as well.

Temporary water pads, slides, and wading pools are fine, but should not be left out for longer than 24 hours. Have your fun, but put them back in the garage when done.

I've been having trouble with my television set. Whenever I turn it on, it plays I Love Lucy reruns. How's a man supposed to keep up with the Mets when all he's got is Ricky and Lucy and I-don't-know-what-else?

Hey, thanks to everyone who came out for the firefighters' fundraiser yesterday. Great weather, even better company. It's honestly one of my favorite times of year (4th of July is up there too, because I get to actually set off fireworks safely and officially). We really appreciate all of the support, and while we hope you don't need to call us for anything -- we're here for you, too.
